- Provisions for Patrons with Special Needs
BRLT is a barrier-free building. Wheelchair seating must be requested at time of ticket order. Disabled parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis to those displaying official state license plates or placards. One American Sign Language interpreted performance is scheduled for each Main Stage Series and Summer Musical production. Please call the Box Office for details and performance dates. Information on Special Access Programs and Schedule is available.

- Children at BRLT
Many of BRLT’s productions are family friendly, and children are welcome to attend age appropriate events. Each child must have his or her own ticket to be admitted. Babies and children who are too young to occupy a theater seat (babies in arms) cannot be admitted into the auditorium.
- Single Ticket Exchanges
Free ticket exchanges of Theater Series events is a subscriber benefit. All other patrons who wish to exchange tickets for the Theater Series within the same production to a different date or time, subject to availability, will be charged a handling fee of $1.00 per ticket plus any seat upgrade costs when applicable.
- Lost Tickets
We will replace any lost, stolen or destroyed tickets for a $1/per ticket charge.
- Returns/Refunds
Tickets cannot be returned or refunded.
- Ticket Donations
While tickets are non-refundable, patrons do have the option to donate their unused tickets back to BRLT as a tax deductible contribution. You may visit the Box Office in person, or call the Box Office at (225) 924-6496 to donate tickets back prior to the performance.
- Late Seating
In order to not disturb other patrons or the performers, a late seating time is set for each performance. This time will vary depending on the nature of the program and is made at the discretion of the theatre management. We appreciate your patience with this policy and recommend that you arrive at the theatre at least fifteen minutes prior to curtain.
- Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are available in amounts based on equivalent ticket value and can be redeemed for all regular BRLT productions. To order, call the Box Office at (225) 924-6496 or email the Box Office at boxoffice@brlt.org.
- Theater Concessions
For the enjoyment and convenience of our patrons, BRLT’s Main Stage productions and events offer light beverages, wine and spirits. The bar, centrally located in the main lobby, opens 1 hour prior to the performance and during intermission. Our 2nd Stage facility has a soda machine and offers a complimentary water cooler for patrons.

Security & Privacy
Is the BRLT website secure?
Yes. Our secure server software along with our ticketing software Expresso Ticketing (designed by ITAdvantage) encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. The encryption process takes the characters you enter and converts them into bits of code that are securely transmitted over the Internet.

Purchasing Tickets
Which Credit Cards can I use to purchase tickets?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Can I buy tickets with Cash?
Yes, you may pay with cash at the Box Office Window during regular business hours.
Handling Charges?
The handling charge for tickets purchased on the web is $1.00 per ticket. The handling charge for phone orders of individual tickets through the Box Office is $1 per ticket. Additional charges or fees may apply for ticket exchange transactions. Handling charges are waived on subscription and extra subscriber rate purchases as a subscriber benefit.
How will I get my tickets?
Your tickets will be available for pick up any time prior to the performance during regular Box Office hours (10 – 5, Mon. – Fri.). Online ticket orders will be available the following business day after the order is placed (example – tickets purchased online: Wednesday at 11AM; available for pick-up: Thursday at 10AM).
What if I lose my tickets?
We will reprint any lost tickets at no charge.
What if I can’t make a performance?
All sales are final, and tickets cannot be returned or refunded.
Subscribers are entitled to one free ticket exchange as a subscriber benefit. All other patrons who wish to exchange tickets within the same production to a different date or time, subject to availability, will be charged a handling fee of $1.00 per ticket plus any seat upgrade costs when applicable.
Do you offer discounts for seniors?
Senior rates are available on Main Stage Season Subscription packages; however, currently BRLT does not offer exclusive individual discounted tickets to seniors.
Do you offer discounts for students?
Yes. BRLT does offer discounted student rate tickets to patrons who meet the following criteria:
- Elementary, junior, and senior high school students as well as full-time college, university, and graduate students. Students must present a valid student I.D., current registration card or report card at the time of purchase.
Current discounts include, but are not limited to:
- $13 Student Rush Tickets ($12 for plays) are availablefor Thursday evening and Sunday matinee performances the day of the show subject to availability.
- $13/$12 Student tickets are occasionally made available for selected performances two weeks ahead of the performance date, subject to availability. Proof of age or valid Student ID is required to purchase student price tickets. Please check with the Box Office for ticket availability prior to the performance date.

How can I view the Seating charts?
Click "Facilities" under Visitor Info at the top of the screen. You can also view the seating chart when purchasing tickets to a performance.
How do I become a subscriber to BRLT?
Just Call Us! (225) 924-6496. Currently subscriptions are only available through The Box Office, and our staff will gladly explain the various packages, help you select seats and purchase your tickets anytime.
When will I receive my subscription tickets?
Main Stage and 2nd Stage Subscription Series tickets are mailed out at the end of the summer, usually the last week in August. Mini-Season Subscriptions are mailed shortly after you purchase.
Do I get discounts on additional performances if I am a subscriber?
Yes. “Subscriber Only” discounts are available.
- BRLT Main Stage Series subscribers can save $5 off additional Main Stage Series tickets for friends and family. This offer can even be used if you wish to see the show again! Discounts are also available to subscribers for the Summer Musical and other special events such as holiday productions and special benefit performances.
